The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the implementation and management of the quality assurance compliance program. The role is responsible for providing a compliant and commercially sound fleet service for the our customers. This role is also hands on, as the successful candidate is expected to be involved in the day to day fitment of the vehicles that are in the workshop as required.
The Purpose of the Role
- Manage the performance of the team to build, support and drive a workshop team.
- Deliver training to the workshop team and contractors regarding quality assurance/compliance program to educate and promote best practice.
- Support a culture of quality customer service in the organisation.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the services provided and relay to customers.
- Consider customer service requirements and develop solutions to meet needs in a timely manner
- Ensure serviceability of specialised and standard equipment including calibration, issue identification.
- Incorporate all required equipment into the development of new vehicle commissioning without impeding on legislation, requirements and standards.
Essential requirements
- Extensive motor mechanic / automotive electrician knowledge.
- Strong experience in Quality Assurance with a record of achieving business outcomes.
- Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience in the motor vehicle industry
- Current NSW driver's licence.
- Co-operate across work areas to improve outcomes for customers.
