Position Overview:
As a Floating Nominated Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the management team and ensuring the smooth operation of our childcare centre. You will step in to provide leadership and guidance in the absence of regular supervisors, helping to maintain high standards of care, compliance, and professionalism across all areas of our program.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and support to educators and staff in various classrooms as needed, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to program requirements.
Assist with the implementation of curriculum and educational programs, fostering a stimulating and engaging learning environment for children of all ages.
Collaborate with the management team to monitor and maintain compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, including health and safety standards.
Support the recruitment, training, and professional development of educators and staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, serving as a trusted resource and advocate for their needs and interests.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a childcare setting, with demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience preferred.
Sound knowledge of early childhood development principles, curriculum frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and situations.
