Group Treasury Transformation

This is an opportunity to make an impact on a long-term, business-critical project, crucial to maintaining Macquarie's strong, conservative balance sheet. Supported by new data architecture and technology, the program is tasked with transforming the end-to-end capital and liquidity process from the operating model and system-landscape to the relevant calculation and reporting frameworks.

What impact will you have?

As a Senior Manager in the team, you will work with stakeholders across Group Treasury to champion Financial Data and to ensure Capital & Liquidity data compliance with the enterprise data management policy and standards. You will be responsible for:

  • Stakeholder engagement - manage data elements within stakeholder expectations & requirements, working with stakeholders to understand priorities, risks and issues
  • Data standards, policies & controls - champion the data policies, standards and controls - including owning the data dictionary, proving oversight data quality, controls and monitoring implementation
  • Data under Governance - lead the delivery and alignment of end-to-end Data under Governance- this includes lineage and Data Quality, working with Data BAs, Data Architect and DuG team
  • Developing data domain models - responsible for review and finalisation of Data Domain models, including conceptual, logical and physical models
  • Data architecture & information management roadmap - contribute to define interim/end-state data architecture for downstream process/reports and contribute to the development of information management strategies and roadmaps
  • Learning & communication strategy - working with communications & change teams to support in the roll-out of learning to enhance understanding of data across FMG
What skills will you use?
  • Stakeholder management - demonstrated ability to be an influential member of a project team and to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience with Enterprise data management programs - experience with BCBS239 deployment would be highly regarded
