A little bit about the role, the following will be some of the requirements of the job:
- Have a bubbly, outgoing and friendly personality
- Work closely with the Venue Manager and Bar Manager in the day to day operation of our venue
- Open up, maintain, clean and close down of work areas according to our procedures and standards
- Food and beverage service to our patrons
- Processing end of day sales, creating reports
- Open/Close the venue
- Take meal orders, explain and have extensive knowledge of our menu items
- Implement and maintain our high hygiene and safety procedures and standards
- Supplying, dispensing or mixing of beverages, cleaning of bar areas and equipment, preparing the bar for service, taking beverage orders and serving drinks
- Monitor the quality and consistency of all food served from the Kitchen
- Respond to guest enquires and requests and resolve customer complaints in a timely, friendly and efficient manner according to our policies and guidelines
- Enforce and ensure our policies and procedures are implemented according to our standards
- Operate POS system and take payment for guest accounts
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- At least 2 years experience in a supervisory role within a busy fast paced bar/restaurant
- Whilst not essential, a decent standard of cocktail experience would be beneficial
- Full working rights in Australia
- Be available for 30+ hours per week including evenings, weekends and public holidays
