As the Food Services Attendant and/or Cleaner for Estia Health Forster, one of our 72 homes caring for 6500 residents, you'll bring happiness to our resident's everyday lives - serving up good meals with a smile and provide a clean and welcoming environment.

Helping to create a home residents love, you'll take pride in delivering service standards that are of the highest level. No two days will be the same in this diverse role. One day your focus could be on assisting in meal service and the next you could focus on food preparation.
What will not change though is your commitment to:
- Prepping and serving food and beverage
- Cleaning - you bring a sparkle to the place in more ways than one
- Changing up the menu. You'll work with our team and residents to create exciting meals that cater to every individual
- Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program
- Being active and on your feet for most of your shift
- Ensuring the homes is clean, hygienic, and safe for our residents
- Support residents by providing quality cleaning services on a scheduled and as-needed basis
- Coordinate and completion of cleaning tasks according to infection control and occupational and safety standards
- Providing exceptional laundry services to the home and to the residents
- Support residents by providing quality service, displaying respect to dignity and privacy
- Display your all-round high-attention-to-detail skills by ensuring the cleanliness standards are of the highest order
- Record the laundry cleaning scheduled tasks and monitoring process
You'll be a real team player who has:
- A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
- Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
- Great time management and planning skills
- A commitment to providing a clean, hygienic and safe home for our residents
- Exceptional cleaning skills with an eagle-eye for details
- Excellent communication skills with understanding and empathy
- The ability to implement and manage a hygiene maintenance system of auditing and site inspections for the home
- Commitment to Work Health and Safety and Hygiene principles
