Forklift Operator (Storeperson)

Chandler MacLeod is seeking experienced Forklift Operators (storeperson) to join a dynamic team within a large catering facility located near Brisbane Airport. Rotating Day and Afternoon shifts are on offer with the opportunity of OT and weekend rates. Our client is a leading and successful food manufacturing giant supplying meals to many of the globes major Airlines.

The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Receipt of incoming goods and checks quantities / quality of products
• Unpacking and labelling of stock
• Ensure warehouse is clean and tidy at all times
• Operate a forklift or other manual handling devices
• Lodge requisitions, place orders and liaise with suppliers
• Perform manual stocktakes and document discrepancies
• Perform administrative and reporting duties as required
• Ensure stock rotation and apply other warehousing principles
• Demonstrate basic computer skills & phone duties
• Communicate in a professional and courteous manner
• Ability to work as instructed following both verbal and written work instructions
• Apply safe manual handling techniques
• Perform such tasks in accordance with Company specifications, to comply with hygiene, quality, safety,
performance and customer service standards
• Ensure adherence to Galley Loading Plan (GLP), Cart Packing Plan (CPP) and Equipment Loading Plan (ELP)
as applicable to the role
• Adhere to the Company's policy in relation to HALAL, HACCP, QSAI / Food Safety, Workplace Health and
Safety, Quarantine and Customs as applicable to the role

Pre-requisites:
• Must hold and maintain possession of a valid Forklift Licence and hold a valid Australian State/Territory drivers licence.
