About the role:
As a Foster CareSocial Worker, you willbe part of a collaborative integrated team working together to make apositive and lasting difference to children and young people through theprovision of quality care in a family setting and provide regular supportvia telephone and face to face visits to Foster Carers.
Qualifications
Hold a recognised professional qualification in Social Work. Overseasqualifications must be validated or recognised by the AASW
Experience
Working in a Child and Family social work setting
Supervising and empowering a team
Knowledge
Relevant legislation arising from the various Child Protection Legislationand Government initiatives and Agendas across Queensland
Licence/Checks
Hold a Working with Children check or be willing to obtain one
Clear full Queensland drivers’ licence
