Foundation Coordinator

Full Time Fixed Term Contract

An exciting opportunity to drive health care improvements for local communities has emerged, through establishment of the SA Rural Health Network Foundation (The Foundation).

The Foundation will strive to create positive change through community-led solutions that address the diverse health and wellbeing needs of regional South Australians.  The Foundation’s priorities will align with the objects and charitable purposes for which SA Rural health Network was established, whilst working towards its own intentions and goals which include:

  • Recognising the diverse health and wellbeing needs of regional South Australians​.  
  • Stiving to create change through community-led solutions that have long term viability​.  
  • Driving greater connection with a broad range of community organisations, stakeholders and industries​.  
  • Using creativity to generate new and innovative ideas that translate to health improvements.  
  • Supporting impactful philanthropy through an organised, strategic and targeted way of giving​.  
  • Enabling activities and initiatives that are effective, efficient, sustainable and in support of equitable access.  

The Foundation Coordinator will provide intensive guidance and support to achieve the desired outputs of The Foundation. Working with internal and external stakeholders and partners, The Foundation Coordinator will drive realisation of the Foundation’s aims and objectives, ensuring activities add value and positively impact primary healthcare for regional 
South Australians now and into the future.

Essential requirements to apply for this position are: 

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in coordinating philanthropic activity, fundraising, project management, health administration or similar. 
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and coordinate activities of a Foundation, not for profit organisation, or health related service that brings about improvement and outcomes for the community or health system. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and connections with a wide range of key internal and external stakeholders to ensure best collective outcomes and solutions. 
  • Experience in coordinating applications and delivery of projects, grants, events in community or health sectors.

It is expected that this position will remain flexible to meet the changing needs of The Foundation. 

Country SA PHN is able to offer a competitive salary and salary packaging to the successful applicant with flexible work location, the renewal of which is subject to continued funding of the program.
