SalaryUGL are seeking Trade Assistants for our exciting new project in North Queensland!
We have recently commenced on site on our Genex Kidston Project involving the design, construction and installation of a high voltage transmission line from Kidston to Mt Fox in Queensland, and a new 275kV switching station located at Mt Fox.
About the role
- Assist tradespeople as instructed to enable work to be carried out
- Operate hand tools in safe and efficient manner
- Laboring duties as required
- Ensure active involvement in Lean practices
- A strong commitment to maintaining a safety environment
- Sound experience in a similar role assisting trades people in a heavy industry environment (substation experience desirable)
- Drivers licence
- White card
- Provide first aid
- High level of measuring skills and eye for detail and quality standards
- Strong safety culture and attitude towards safety
- Strong communication skills
