French Teacher

The position
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic French Teacher to join our dedicated teaching team. This position is offered as a full time, ongoing role commencing at the start of Term 2 2024.
Reporting to the Head of Faculty, the role will facilitate, support and enhance student learning. It is expected that all Subject Teachers have a broad and deep understanding of their subject specific content.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
Help to develop a stimulating learning environment by using a variety of styles and approaches to cater for individual learning needs
Utilise appropriate pedagogical practices to expand the growth of individual students across academic, spiritual and emotional fields
Employ a variety of strategies to effectively implement the curriculum
Actively participate and engage in the School’s pastoral care system which reflects Loreto values
Implement strategies and expectations which promote a positive learning environment
Provide students with a child-safe environment
Actively participate in all aspects of school life beyond the classroom
About You
To be successful in this position, it is essential that you have:
Current Teaching Registration (Victorian Institute of Teaching)
Proven expertise and knowledge in teaching French (Years 7 to VCE)
An ability to teach VCE French is essential
An ability to teach another method, in particular Religious Education would be highly regarded
