We are currently looking for a motivated, bubbly and vibrant
Casual Guest Service Agent to join our friendly Front Office Team, who is available for a 7 day rotating roster - must be available on weekends and evenings. 24-32 hrs per week approx with the potential for more hours for right candidate.
As the first point of contact for our guests you will be responsible for greeting each guest with a smile & providing an outstanding level of service.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Checking in & out guests
- Managing direct & OTA bookings
- Responding to emails and social media
- Answering & directing phone calls & enquiries
- Offering guests information on local area and attractions
- Handling customer feedback in a positive & professional manner
- Compiling daily reports ie. housekeeping, maintenance, etc
- Daily banking and reconciling
- Cleaning of common areas
- Making up of beds as required
To be successful, candidates should have the following attributes:
- A bubbly, outgoing personality
- Attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Sales ability to turn enquiries into reservations
- Outstanding communication skills both written & verbal
- Ability to problem solve, show initiative & work unsupervised
- Local knowledge of our surrounding areas & local attractions
- Knowledge of Hotel/Motel booking systems essential (on the job training provided to the right candidate)
