Fruit And Vegetable Wholesale 2Ic Pack Manager

We are seeking a capable and motivated individual to join our team at The Garden Basket, as a Full-Time Fruit andVegetable Wholesale 2IC Pack Manager. The ideal local candidate will be competent in general IT and web-based programs, ensuring efficient management of wholesale packing operations and customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and be actively involved in the wholesale packing process 
- Utilize IT and web-based programs to optimize packing efficiency, inventory management and customer relations 
- Collaborate closely with the Wholesale Manager 
- Lead a team of packers, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow during the afternoon/evening shift
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to uphold product standards
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Wholesale Manager and business owner to manage stock levels effectively

-Communicate effectively with customers daily 

- The probation period will be hands on understanding the packing component, with a progression to a 50/50 split between packing and managing all components of the shift

Requirements:
- Knowledge of Fruit and Vegetable preferred, but not essential 
- Sound IT skills and competent using web-based programs
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Live locally to Margaret River
- Availability for afternoon shifts (5.00pm until early AM) and to work throughout the busy holiday periods
