lead the preparation of materials and equipment to support children's learning and development
provide experiences to support children's play and learning
develop positive and respectful relationships with children
ensure the health and safety of children
support and supervise the daily routines of children
support the inclusion of all children
support children to develop cooperative behaviour
be responsible for ensuring a safe environment is maintained for both staff and children.
be responsible for ensuring that records are maintained accurately for each child in their care.
develop, implement and evaluate daily care routines.
ensure that the centre or service's policies and procedures are adhered to
be responsible, in consultation with the Assistant Director/Director for the preparation, implementation and evaluation of a developmentally appropriate program for individual children or groups.
liaise with families.
A successful candidate will:
have a recognised Diploma (or higher) qualification;
have a minimum of two years full time (or part time equivalent) employment experience as a Child Care Group Leader in a regulated early childhood education and care service;
be available to work fulltime;
want a career in childcare;
have reliable transportation; and
have the right to work in Australia.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary range- $62,200 - $70,000 p/a gross.
Successful applicants will also have to apply for a Working with Children Check Card and a Current First Aid qualification, if they don't have these already.
