Meruka Childcare Co-operative is seeking a dedicated, motivated and enthusiastic educator to join our child and family orientated co-operative located in Eltham. 

• Full Time Diploma Qualified Educator (Level 4) 

Meruka Child Care Co-operative is a community-based, parent-run, not-for-profit centre. 
Our aim is to provide high quality education and care for children from birth to six years in a truly inclusive environment.

Essential Criteria:

• A passion for working with children
• An ability to build and maintain strong and meaningful relationships with children and families
• Experience in developing and implementing the educational program and achieving quality learning outcomes
• Knowledge of providing safe, sustainable, and inclusive environments for children
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• An ability to work collaboratively within a team
• A sound knowledge of the VEYLF, EYLF and NQF
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 years
• Available to work a three week rotating roster 

Applicants must hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent, a current Working with Children's Check, current First Aid and current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training.
