Talent International is searching for an experienced Fullstack Developer to join our client, a leading logistics organisation. This role is based in Fortitude Valley on a 6-month contract.
Purpose:
The fullstack developer will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that are maintainable and durable.
Responsibilities / Critical Deliverables
Develop solutions as per the guidance of the Core Development Services Leader
Implement solutions leveraging appropriate backend server technologies including NodeJS, DotNet and various database technologies with a focus on SQL Server.
Test the solutions using the testing framework as specified by the project team.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years previous experience as a full stack developer in a large and complex information technology organisation.
Experience guiding other developers including offshore resources, working in a collaborative environment.
Specific Skills
Ability to design and implement solutions that are maintainable and durable. Must have strong experience creating new code based on user stories and requirements
Minimum 5 years fullstack experience. Willing to work across frontend and backend technologies and solutions
Strong working knowledge of SPA frameworks, bonus points for VueJS
Commercial experience with NodeJS and C# (DotNet Core) backend development, interest in other languages is a bonus
Knowledge and practical experience with a variety of database technologies with a focus on SQL Server
Commercial experience building APIs in NodeJS and C# (DotNet Core)
Strong OO and functional developer mindset
Experience with git VC systems such as GitHub
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong work ethic
Interest and/or experience with DDD, Microservices, REST
Ideal
Docker, Kubernetes skills
Working examples of code in a repository such as GitHub
Good exposure to opensource tooling
Azure Cloud experience including AKS, ServiceBus, Azure SQL PaaS etc.
Ability to think through complex problems and find pragmatic and elegant solutions
Work well under pressure with tight deadlines
Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum based)
