Our Government client is looking for a Full Stack Java Developer to design, build and test technical solutions and implement new or modified functionality to the required specifications and quality.
Key responsibilities
Use Agile principles to develop working software that meet business requirements and exceed expectations
Leverage DevOps tools, methodologies and new ways of working to turn around technical solutions for multiple, parallel tracks, under aggressive timelines
Develop technical solutions as per requirement specifications for new and altered functionalities
Automate existing manual processes in the SDLC achieve productivity and efficiency gains through build and test automation
Troubleshoot software defects, incidents and problems using ITIL framework
Maintain and apply knowledge of contemporary and emerging software design, development, testing and hosting techniques, tools and platforms
Key Skills
Min 8 years of experience as a Senior Java Developer
Strong experience with J2EE and Core Java
Experience working with Agile & DevOps to achieve automation, improve processes and reduce costs/turn-around time
Experience with Java EE, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Modern web UI technologies, e.g. Angular and React
Software Engineering Degree/Diploma or equivalent qualification n/experience - highly regarded
