The Organisation:
- This enterprise client has operations around Western Australia and grown progressively over several years. It supports the the community and plays a key role contributing to the Australia's GDP.
- Two major programs of work have created an opportunity for you to join their internal IT team as a Functional Business Analyst.
- Their technology platform has a number of complex integrations, processes and business rules which would require you to work with a range of subject matter experts, and ensure you get a variety of work tasks to complete.
- All the team work in a client-facing and consulting manner where they leverage their IT and business skills to ensure that if there are any technology solutions available that add value and meet the organisations roadmap they are implemented in a timely manner.
- Using your practical Business Analyst and consulting skills, your role will span full lifecycle functional project work, with a key focus on process mapping, documentation and mapping to improve system efficiencies.
- You will help play a key role changing business processes and systems to ensure the business operates more efficiently and effectively in the future, while meeting their complex governance, compliance, and risk management requirements.
- The role will involve you adding value at various stages (requirements gathering, modelling, workshops, reporting, analysis etc) and levels dealing directly with various client stakeholders and third party vendors based in Australia and internationally.
- Working with a Senior Functional Business Analyst and SME's, you will be a key contributor to helping the business realise value from new COTS application environment.
- Your resume / CV should support your delivery-focused commercial experience across mid-large organisations with a focus on functional IT business and systems analysis.
- Good written and verbal communication skills are required to elicit key requirements from business stakeholders who may not be forthcoming with how things operate.
- Work experience and successes gained in capital intensive industry sectors with complex processes, supply chains and systems would be highly regarded.
- This client has a track record for hiring mid-level (3-6 years) experienced BA's and training them to become some of the best in the market.
- Any formal methodology and process experience (BABOK, UML) would be of particular value, however not essential. Relevant Tertiary qualifications and/or industry certification/s would be of benefit.
