We’re seeking for PeopleSoft Functional Consultant to work in our client’sIT department who has a pipeline of projects that require key PeopleSoft Campus experts.
Contract is 6 months with highly possible extension or can be 12 months FTE.
You will provide your expertise on several projects which are under way that require data analysis, functional analysis, and development work (creation of views, integration broker for integration etc):
This project needs an integration from SiMS to the new solution to build a Term view of the course using PeopleSoft data and Eclipse data (source system for course). The scope of the project includes:
- The migration of some OSB integration that relies on SiMS (Plus Alliance, Apply Online, CCOS, Future Students, GRIS SIMS Integration)
- The deployment of a new integration platform that will enable a more mature and modern way of sharing Students’ data with the community of downstream system owners/users
- Health and Safety system
What would make you a good fit for this role?
- Advanced understanding of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during both implementation projects and BAU support services.
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience implementing or supporting PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
- Excellent requirements gathering skills and ability to translate business requirements into functional design specifications.
- Prior experience working in a formal project environment.
- Proven ability to perform Analysis, Design, Configuration and Test activities for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
- Ideally familiar with Education/University environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with customers and colleagues for the consultation, requirements gathering, design, implementation, and ongoing support of PeopleSoft solutions.
- Assist customers with analysing, designing, testing, and deploying PeopleSoft enhancements, reports and regular application updates and patches.
- Definition and preparation of any required approach and/or standards documentation.
- Requirements Elicitation, Specification & Fit-Gap, Configuration Design and Build.
- Functional Design Specification for customisations and enhancements (including interfaces and reports).
- Data Conversion Design, Test Planning, Preparation, Execution and Defect Management.
- Provide Functional inputs to other streams such as Technical Upgrade, Development, Test and Deployment.
- Possess a good command of the English language, written and verbal.
