Job description

This is a great opportunity to join a high performing and welcoming team, who directly interact with Global Clients and provide middle office support to FX Sales desk in APAC ex. Japan. The analyst will collaborate with a wide variety of business areas and stakeholders, including Markets Front Office, Line Control, Regulatory Reform, Legal, Operations, towards a shared goal of providing the best possible client service whilst ensuring any trade queries/discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner. They will also be responsible for implementing & performing/reviewing control, perform lifecycle function, allocation, manage query remediation, client servicing and requires understanding of business context.

Successful candidate will receive supportive training and a personal development plan to help them succeed within this role and develop their career at Citi.

Responsibilities:
  • In-depth cross coverage on FX and Option in a fast-paced environment
  • Supporting trade flow and interaction with Business, Firm's Clients and exchanges globally to manage post execution issues for related products
  • Perform control functions based on intermediary processing systems and records
  • Complete daily BAU task lists
  • Operational risk awareness and drive STP efforts in post execution trade cycles across products
  • Interact closely with Global Middle Office, Operations and Technologies on systematic, trade queries, confirmations and settlements
  • Flexibility to work on Public holidays
  • Ensure the desk is in compliant with internal and external regulations at all times
  • Assist Team Lead/Supervisor in all their duties as required


Requirements:
  • 4 years working experience
  • Domain knowledge of Treasury Markets
  • Awareness of key middle office risks, controls and operational cycles
  • Ability to multi-task and work seamlessly with various stake holders
  • Attention to detail and intermediate problem solving skills
  • Email & query management through critical thinking
  • Be creative and have a structured approach to problem solving
  • FX platform domains experience
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Able to work independently and in teams
  • Relevant Degree or experience in equivalent industry is preferred

  • Relevant Degree or experience in equivalent industry is preferred
