Coolibah Care has been the aged care provider of choice in the Peel region for over 50 years. We are a not-for-profit organisation consistently meeting the standards developed by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. Coolibah Care offers a range of services including residential care, independent living, home services, respite, and day care.
We are looking to employ a Gardener/Maintenance Assistant on a full-time basis. The role will mainly be responsible for the grounds and gardens of Coolibah Care but also work with the maintenance team in relation to general maintenance within the overall facility.

Key Responsibilities
- Lawn mowing, whipper snipping and edging of grassed areas
- Removal of clippings including ensuring that access ways are clear of debris
- Pruning of shrubs, bushes and small trees as needed
- Removal and/or spraying of weeds as needed
- Planting of new plants as required
- Ensuring pathways are free from hazards
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of reticulation as needed
- Undertake general maintenance repairs to the facilities grounds and equipment/machinery of Coolibah
Essential Criteria for the Role
- Gardening or horticulture qualification will be highly regarded
- Previous experience in maintaining gardens and grounds on a large scale
- Previous experience of undertaking general maintenance
- Full drivers licence – manual
- Current Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
