Have at least a Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance before commencement; and
Have the ability to obtain a Negative Vetting 2 (NV2) as required and requested by the Commonwealth.

The Gateway Engineers role will provide specialist knowledge and capacity to:
- Delivery, improvement and support of the Gateway supporting the BICES platform.
- Scope, review, assess, advise, amend (where required), plan and implement engineering tasks as defined by the Project Manager;
- Ensure quality documentation is generated to support the product engineering baseline;
- Assess and advise on appropriate technology solutions including hardware, software, firmware and vendors relevant to a task;
- Assess and advise on system architecture where relevant to a task;
- Coordinate ITSM changes, including the development and or maintenance of engineering artefacts and Service Records though extent SMB ITSM processes;
- Assess the suitability of the defect remediation activities in accordance with the Technical Assurance Framework;
- Deliver engineering effort to assess, and rectify Obsolescence within the Strategic Gateway Environment (SGE);
- Responsible for the implementation and transition to support of BICES gateway components and assists the network engineer.
- Contributes to the writing of detailed designs and Technical Implementation Instructions; and
- Any other tasks reasonably requested by the program.
- A deep understanding of MTAs and DLP.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Have a thorough working knowledge of the Pegasus support processes as they apply to FVEY support and sustainment activities.
- Have a thorough working knowledge of the transition processes to enable effective engagement with stakeholder support towers for the progression of transition activities.
