Your new role:
Reporting to the Fleet Manager based in our Seven Hills Hire Yard, the Operations Technician will be required to play a key role, supporting branch activities in the yard. As this is a full time permanent role you will get a monthly RDO and an annual bonus.
Key role responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate forklifts to load / unload materials and buildings
- Prepare, clean and pack buildings to hire standards
- Operating hand and power tools to install and/or repair fittings to clients requests
- Processing paperwork of the installation & return of hire assets via the operations construction process.
- Stocktakes of assets as required
- Prepare hire buildings for transit
- Unpack and test run/clean ancillaries when buildings are returned from hire
What you will bring to the role:
- Previous carpentry experience as a trade assistant or labourer in Building or Construction
- Have a great safety attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Work well in a team and autonomously
- Have a keen eye for details
