About the Role
Join our team! Council has a fantastic opportunity for 2 General Hand/Plant Operators in our works section. Operators carry out maintenance and construction duties in relation to Council's infrastructure including, but not limited to, roads, footpaths, drainage and signage. Plant operation includes backhoe, bobcat, loader and trucks (as licensed). This position also undertakes general hand/labouring duties.

About You
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and capable operator with a can-do’ positive attitude who loves working in the outdoors. You will have previous construction knowledge and experience and be able to use a wide range of plant and equipment. You will be an effective communicator with a customer service focus.

In return for your hard work and dedication, Council is offering a commencing weekly rate of $965.30 + allowances.
