AND YOU ARE?

Naturally, star candidates will possess extensive, proven management experience in home care/residential or aged care/health, or the disabilities sectors (I.e., aged care not essential), along with:

Demonstrated leadership experience and knowledge of accreditation standards and legislative requirements
RN AHPRA registration
High level communication and interpersonal skills
Proven experience in maximising uptake of services and/or occupancy levels

Reporting directly to the fantastic, supportive Chief Operating Officer, your remit includes:

Responsibility for overall operations
Leading, mentoring and consistently developing the team
Ensuring systems uptake and continuous improvement, developing programs and services that integrate the aged care facility within the local community, and vice versa
Driving and maintaining strong bonds with staff, families and residents,
Optimising the household model of care to utilise the vertical building design to ensure effective and integrated care delivery by staff
Engaging and motivating a diverse team to provide high quality care and client outcomes
