About the role
As the General Manager, you will be accountable for the strategic and operational planning, delivery and management of Calvary Riverina Private Hospital.
As a member of the senior executive team and reporting to the Regional CEO, you will lead the delivery of Calvary strategic intent and be responsible for building a high performing leadership team within the Hospital.
You will be accountable for the operational performance and will contribute to the continuous improvement of services, ensuring that they are client and outcome focused, financially sustainable and operating with the highest quality standards.
This is an exciting Permanent Full Time opportunity.
About you
Tertiary qualifications, preferably post graduate, in management, business, health or related field;
A strong commitment to the philosophy and mission of Calvary and ability to work within and promote the national strategic direction and corporate vision of Calvary.
Proven high-level leadership and operational management experience, preferably gained in the management of a large health and / or community care service.
A strong commercial focus, together with proven high-level business development skills and experience, strong financial management skills and business acumen within the health and community care context.
Experience in managing complex relationships in particular developing effective culture and engagement, inspiring commitment and developing capacity.
The ability to design, lead, implement and evaluate significant change processes for effective outcomes.
Experience in overseeing the management of local service contracts.
Exposure to developing and managing public sector partnerships.
A demonstrated awareness and understanding of the current and likely future environment in which the service operates, including the political context.
