The Role
This is a senior role that will be responsible for scaling and delivering the product offering in the Australian Market. Over time, the work you have done with the company will ensure that it is one of the most recognisable and trusted brands in agriculture nationally. You will lead a growing team of 20 staff dedicated to establishing the company nationally, driving commercial scale-up and ensuring end-to-end delivery of company products and services. Within the international organization this role is classified as a Senior Vice President.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial teams including marketing, sales and operations.
- Leverage your extensive networks to secure strategic partnerships and distribution channels
- Oversee the implementation and ongoing operation of processes, KPIs and systems to support scalability and efficiency across both sales and project delivery teams
- Refine and deliver on Loam’s Australian go-to-market strategy, ensuring national scale
- Collaborate closely with the Australian product development teams to advise on commercial considerations for new product development priorities important for successful commercial expansion in Australia
- Manage the appropriate country-level commercial budgets and targets
- Minimum 15 years of experience within Agriculture or Agribusiness in a commercial capacity, experience/exposure to carbon projects is a benefit but not required
- Proven ability to lead and build a fast-paced and dynamic team that can operate in a highly innovative environment
- Demonstrated experience in implementing country/product/functional level strategies for product market entry and adoption in the agricultural sector
- Strong track record and expertise in building and leading a sales organisation
- Expertise and experience in large-scale project management and operations
- A strong network in the Australian agriculture industry - including retailers, processors/merchants and large growers
- Expert in managing commercial processes and business administration
- Experience in building and managing high-performing teams
- Confident using software to manage business processes, including CRM (Salesforce)
- Proven track record in developing and managing people
