As the General Manager for the Home Care business, you will have full oversight and responsibility of the business line and will report directly to the COO. This is a highly influential senior leadership position that will help shape and design the business to ensure it provides the best possible service to clients and their families, and outperforms the industry.
What you will be responsible for:
Driving the financial performance of the Home Care services business;
Developing and maintaining an optimised organisational structure and staffing levels for Home Care services;
Driving innovation through engagement and lifestyle programs that seek to promote purpose, connection and wellbeing for the community;
Developing marketing plans, business plans, sales strategies, and action plans for identified targets of opportunity for growth organically and by acquisition;
Working in partnership with the People & Culture team to attract and retain team members to RSL LifeCare, ensuring right people in the right place to deliver to our clients and exceed community expectations;
Developing and leading a culture that allows for innovation in the delivery of care and services whilst maintaining our community's dignity and choice; and
Developing and implement strategies to drive 100% market share of RSLLC Retirement Living community members Home Care needs
What you will bring to the role:
Proven ability to provide high level leadership in complex environments (healthcare and / or aged care sector knowledge preferred);
Strong business acumen with proven ability to read and interpret a complex P&L and build annual budgets;
Demonstrated competence in the provision of innovative care and service delivery models
Strategic thinking with the capability to work independently
Team focused, collaborative and engaging leadership style; and
Experience working through and navigating change in a complex and regulated environment.
The ideal candidate would have the following, but not essential:
Demonstrated high level knowledge and understanding of the Health and Aged Care sectors, relevant agencies funding and policy protocols, accreditation, and workplace relations legislation;
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health/Human Services and/or Business Administration preferred; and
Sound knowledge and application of Clinical Governance frameworks.
