To support operational excellence, we are actively recruiting a General Manager of Healthcare Support Services to support strategic leadership and operational project implementations. The purpose of this role is to drive sustainable results, by exceeding client and patient expectations across all operational service lines.
The Role
Reporting to the Executive Director Healthcare, this role will drive and coordinate the retention and growth strategy for Healthcare and oversee the support components of operations and service delivery
Work collaboratively with peers to execute strategic priorities into operational reality.
Oversee and ensure delivery on time and on budget, all agreed Healthcare projects.
Ensure the delivery of dietetic and nutritional compliance to all applicable standards.
Implement and govern IT systems and platforms ensuring systems used are robust, transparent and fully functioning to the requirements.
Identify new market opportunities and provide effective support to new bids and existing site refurbishment strategies.
Provide leadership to the support services team to ensure outputs are achieved against formal plans and projects.
Drive best practice and quality initiatives to ensure standards and competitiveness.
Influence operations to ensure the delivery of best value quality services.
Drive ongoing and sustainable improvement in our safety performance.
Drive compliance to food safety programs to ensure the highest standard of food integrity.
Working collaboratively with the SAG Team and applicable General Manager, execute the client retention plan recognising the 3 year BD Strategic Plan for Healthcare.
Provide effective support to new bids and existing site refurbishment strategies.
In collaboration with the applicable sector General Manager, execute mobilisation activities in accordance with the submitted tender
The Person
As an influential and decisive leader, you will bring a level of capability that will allow you to build an effective and engaged team. You will leverage your extensive experience in a senior management role, along with your financial and analytical skills to develop project plans, budgets and allocate appropriate resources to ensure a sustainable & profitable business founded in client focus and exceptional customer experience.
Proven experience within a similar role or industry
Strong financial acumen and focus on building team financial literacy
Solid stakeholder engagement capabilities
Ability to deliver against multiple initiatives concurrently
Demonstrated experience driving a culture of procedural management and efficiency
Previous management of complex operational services including mobilisations
The highest ethical and professional standards
Experienced in drawing and adapting strategic insight from market and internal data
Passion for all things culinary
The ability to manage a high functioning Team
Experience in Business Development and client retention activities
