The General Manager is responsible for the profit and growth of the Luxury Independent business. This includes oversight of all luxury independent models, including agents, agencies, franchisees & future partnerships.
Integral to the role is a powerful desire for growth and an ability to gain market share within the Luxury Independent sector. The GM will be required to drive luxury sales by clearly demonstrating the value of The Luxury Collection’s Independent offering, resulting in growth of the Luxury Collection’s independent network.
The role incorporates the management of all aspects of the business operations to deliver service excellence in support of the growing network resulting in maximised retention of the network. A commercially savvy thinker, the GM must possess a deep understanding of how their decisions impact overall profitability of the model.
What you will be doing
Luxury Network Retention & Operations
Build key relationships across our agent & agency customers
Demonstrate full ownership of results within the business to drive positive outcomes for agencies and the business
Work with key stakeholders internally and externally to deliver an outstanding & consistent experience to agents and agencies within the network
Work with agents/agencies, suppliers and stakeholders to identify opportunities and address network concerns or complaints
Engage and collaborate with other businesses within FCTG to look for opportunities to extend products and services from the wider FCTG group into the Luxury Collection
Identifies opportunities for business improvement - Delivers a compelling customer experience to maximise the opportunity for retention and satisfaction
Luxury Independent Growth
Identifies opportunities for referrals and converts to sales
Delivers valuable insights and expertise on the industry
Responsible for managing a pipeline of potential sales leads to ensure rapid growth of the Luxury Collection
Expertly position the features and benefits of the Luxury Collection Independent offering to prospective agents and agencies
Act as an ambassador for the Luxury Collection via regular attendance at industry events and other networking opportunities to source leads, partnership and acquisition opportunities
What you will bring to the role
10 years in a senior management role
Extensive experience in a retail-based industry
Extensive knowledge of FCTG Independent /Travel Associates & Industry – Preferred
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the internal & customer-facing technology systems
Experience initiating and executing strategies to drive growth in digital sales for B2C companies
Experience in driving a multi-disciplined support team, formulating strategy, & future direction for that group
