• Salary: $80,488- $121,202.00 (pro rata) MDP2 | Full Time, Until February 2026

As the Medical Service Resident, you will be responsible to Registrar/Consultants to assist in integrated patient care activities and provide general medical rotations suitable for candidates who have not yet decided on a specialist training program or wish to obtain more medical experience. You will be responsible to the relevant unit head for the daily care of patients allocated to the accompanying department/unit, the supervision of medical students, interns and junior medical officer in consultation with consultants and will liaise with other departments and services of LHN, with other health providers in the community and hospital sector and with the broader community in the pursuit of comprehensive patient care.

To be successful in this role, you will need basic skills of patient assessment and common, non-specialised medical procedures, successfully completed one year of Internship and proven experience in delivering high quality and safe care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Care Service Standards.
