Both of our well established, busy, modern, mixed billing, fully computerised medical centres are GP owned, AGPAL accredited and are recognised RACGP & ACCRM training practices.
Located in the hub of the Coles Shopping complex in the main street of Port Douglas, this Medical Centre is easily accessible with street or undercover parking available for patients. Being located next to Pharmacy and shops with on-site pathology, we offer a fantastic working environment with full-time nurses, support staff, flexible hours and DWS eligibility.
Port Village Medical Centre is open Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm and Saturday and Sundays from 9am - 12pm.

Mossman is open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm and closed weekends.
A short scenic drive north of Port Douglas brings you to Mossman, a charming regional centre for the surrounding sugar cane industry, where our centre is located in the main street Town and Country Shopping Centre.
Five minutes west is the Mossman Gorge, home to the Kuku Yalanji people, the area’s traditional Aboriginal landowners. Here the Mossman river tumbles its way over and around huge granite boulders, creating cool, clear freshwater swimming holes alongside the rainforest of the World Heritage listed Daintree National Park. Take time to explore Wonga Beach and further on to the quaint Daintree Village with a ferry river crossing taking you to the tropical rainforests of Cape Tribulation. The experience never ends.
Candidate Profile:
We are actively seeking a short term or long term full-time VR GP. Our busy practices provide a wholesome mix of patient demographics offering an interesting combination of general practice, including indigenous health and tropical medicine.
After Hours requirements: Due to our Far North Queensland location, we provide all of our own on-call and after hours services and all doctors participate in a rotating roster.
Salary Pay Type: Percentage of Receipts
Salary Pay Range: $500- $660K less 35% service fee or $150 per hour for the first 12 weeks, whichever is greater
Qualifications and Experience:
- General Practitioner MBBS with minimum 2 years’ experience
- AHPRA Registration
Following successful placement, eligible candidates may be entitled to receive support and financial assistance through Health Workforce Queensland's comprehensive workforce attraction and retention incentives. This position may be eligible for a scholarship or bursary for ongoing professional development.
