What you'll be doing
The overall purpose is to maintain a hygienic and safe environment for patients, staff and public who attend Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals and to provide high quality supervision and support to frontline general services staff

Blacktown hospital car parking allocation model is changing. There is a managed waitlist for parking for new staff commencing at Blacktown Hospital. This does not apply to staff with a disability parking permit.
Please note: To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in the operations and supervision of staff within a large and complex healthcare organisation or similar environment
- Ability to lead, review and implement changes in work practices to ensure that standards, policies and procedures are met
- Demonstrated understanding and application of Work Health Safety issues including the ability to apply risk management processes
- Demonstrated high level ability to plan, organise and lead a cohesive and effective work team
- Highly developed computer skills and competent in the use of Microsoft office programs, electronic payroll and relevant intranet applications.
- Commitment to provide continuous improvement, outstanding customer service and a positive workplace culture.
- High level interpersonal skills including sound oral and written communication ability
