They are currently working on multiple Iconic projects across QLD.
About the role
Based in our Brisbane office and with travel to other sites you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of rail infrastructure projects, primarily in the CBD area. The role will span the full life cycle of project management from estimating and tendering through to safe delivery of works onsite.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Support the development of tenders, including detailed scoping, cost estimates, detailed work programs and methodologies
- Provide technical solutions associated with project construction
- Prepare various project, safety and quality documents associated with construction projects
- Undertake project financial management, including use of ERP system
- Adherence to all codes of practice, standards, regulatory legislation and Occupational Health and Safety requirements relating to the rail industry.
- Care of customer and other stakeholders including supervision of subcontractor services
- Provide technical advice and engineering support as required
About you
- Recently completed Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree.
- Previous experience working as an Undergraduate Civil Engineer
- General awareness of OH&S legislation, including Construction Industry Induction Card
- A high level of computer literacy - use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Projects, and other project management software
- Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative
