- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
- Engineering penchant in problem solving.
- A fearless attitude in adaptability and eagerness to learn!
The role will include:
- Intuitive means easy to use or learn without any special knowledge. So, the essential goal of our consultancy would be to do develop easy to digest, logical, and cost-effective assessments that will add value to our clients’ projects. This would entail computer literacy in producing reports, design notes, or mark-ups to communicate our ideas clearly.
- Developing your skills in software fire engineering-related packages with hands-on coaching (e.g., computer simulation for fire and egress scenarios).
- Developing your skills in qualitative research to understand the National Construction Code for conducting assessments.
- The chance for you to showcase and develop your softer engineering skills (e.g., developing your verbal presentation, liaising skills, and report writing capabilities).
- Most importantly, to be a good representative of the company with a high degree of professionalism. We would like to represent our clients well, cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, and nurture projects throughout the life cycle from concept to construction.
Initiatives include:
- An excellent remuneration package based on your experiences and qualifications.
- A vibrant office location in South Melbourne with blossoming streets and a myriad of diverse restaurants/cafés nearby.
- Flexible working arrangements (e.g., possibility of eventual hybrid working, fulfilling hours outside of the traditional Mon-Fri 9am -5 pm schedule). You will work in a friendly office environment that has a genuine focus on work/life balance.
- Paid leave on birthdays on top of 4-6 weeks annual leave.
- The chance to get hands-on mentoring by industry-leading professionals having global, national, and local experiences.
- Team lunches and events in an amazing work environment.
- Training funds for courses, seminars, and professional memberships to help you grow your career in fire engineering.
- Working on high-profile projects to grow your development. As engineers making a difference, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing your designs and works being established in person!
