About the Role

As a member of our Wills & Estates team, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Partner and other senior members of the team in delivering exceptional legal services. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough research on legal matters related to wills, trusts, and estates, drafting a wide range of documents including:

  1. wills, powers of attorney and other estate planning documents;
  2. applications for probate, property transfer documents and other estate administration documents;
  3. affidavits and other court documents in estate litigation matters,

as well as assisting in the management of client matters, and undertaking any other legal, professional, or administrative tasks as required.

Skills & Experience 

To excel in this role, you will need a bachelor's degree in law and strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to apply critical thinking specifically in the context of Wills & Estates law. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships at all levels. Exceptional organisational skills are a must, with the ability to administer several tasks concurrently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. Self-motivation and the capability to work independently, dedication to maintaining confidentiality and providing excellence in client service, and a flexible and adaptable approach, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, are also essential. Attention to detail and a "can do" attitude will be highly regarded.
