About the Role
We are searching for a creative, motivated and design-driven individual to join our marketing team. The position is a multi-function role, which requires the basics of graphics and design principles teamed with a love of creating engaging communication content.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting our marketing and communications team through graphic design as well as working with our manufacturing team on packaging design and updates. This role would suit a recent graduate.

Key Responsibilities
This role will work closely with both the Marketing Manager and Head Graphic Designer with responsibilities including:
- Designing engaging and creative content to promote our suite of brands
- Product packaging design and updating in line with Australian and International standards
- Development of product mock-ups
- Reviewing, approving and filing artwork
- Coordination of printing and the distribution of artwork assets, liaising with and assisting external agencies, distributors and customers
- Design of digital assets / content creation including web banners, EDMs and Social Media
- Design of printed assets including posters, advertisements and flyers
- Product photography, formatting and retouching
While this is primarily a Graphic Design role, it is also a hands on and varied role where you will have the opportunity to
- Contribute to marketing and communications, planning, brainstorming and problem solving
- Develop your marketing and communications skills
- You may also be required to assist with administration tasks as required
About You
- You have a Diploma or higher qualification in Graphic Design or similar field
- Confident using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of design programs, primarily Illustrator
- Experience working in either in a graphic design or marketing role is highly regarded
- Exceptional written and visual communications skills
- Basic Photography, video and editing skills are a strong bonus
- Attention to detail including the ability to proofread
- Passion for digital communications is a must
- A team player with a 'can do' attitude, willingness to step in, and 'do what needs to be done'.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills essential for working in a busy small team with numerous and often conflicting deadlines
This role is full time and based onsite at Caronlab Australia’s head office, located in North Geelong, Victoria.
