We are looking for Graphic Designer to join our in-house production studio, based in our Huntingwood NSW office. Supporting the Merchandise department, as well as our Marketing and Promotions teams, you will be responsible for the production of a diverse range of Retail Consumer Catalogues, Retailer Order Guides, and Point of Sale Kits, for distribution nationally across multiple retail channels.
What you’ll do
- Design and produce effective print-based communication to deadlines.
- Reliably design and produce print-based files for weekly, fortnightly and seasonal communication projects.
- Ensure that relevant brand style guides are met, including identities, campaign branding and related details.
- Preparation and transmission of press-ready files for production and distribution nationally.
- Maintain brand guidelines throughout all print-based communications to retailers and consumers.
- Work closely with management, clients and suppliers to meet expectations.
- Support the wider team with creative tasks when needed.
- 2 - 4 years’ experience in Graphic Design producing print-based graphics for retail organisations.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe CC for print, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams.
- Working knowledge of pre-press processes, including PMS overprints for knife-lines and varnishes.
- Ability to interpret and meet client requirements from a wide range of sources, including files from agencies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, in person and online to ensure client expectations are met.
- Close attention to detail, to ensure final artwork is correct including descriptions, pricings and unit pricings.
- Keen sense of deadlines, highly organized, and works well under pressure to deliver projects accurately.
- Must be responsive towards any additional requirements or last-minute changes on any project.
- Must be able to integrate with all other team members onsite and to work remotely as required.
