Our client is a local business internationally recognised for their ground breaking and innovative solutions. They have a strong focus on sustainability and the environment, they are inviting a mid weight designer in to the business where there alot of exciting projects just waiting for your creativity.
Description
- Design, layout and produce a range of material including flyers, advertisements, banners, signs, posters, newsletters and annual reports.
- Develop creative concepts to apply to all communications material for events.
- Ensure all publications produced are to the highest visual design standards and effectively and appropriately communicated.
- Provide creative design advice to help develop appropriate and innovative communication strategies to achieve Mainmark’s objectives.
- Arrange printing, installation and distribution of communication material.
- Facilitate brainstorming sessions with internal stakeholders to ensure the development of creative designs is engaging.
- Research, purchase, commission and take photographs for use in communication material.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in visual design.
- Ensure designs comply with Brand Guidelines to enhance and protect visual reputation.
- Approve use of business logo in all publications, internal and external.
- In consultation with key personnel, develop an internal publication request and approval system.
- Excellent knowledge of design software packages including Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat on Mac and PC platforms.
- Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design or similar field; or equivalent industry experience.
- Significant experience developing a range of printed material for a medium to large organisations.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment supported by excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to strategically project manage the creative design process from brief to completion to meet project and business objectives.
- skilled in developing innovative and modern design solutions to address communication objectives.
- Demonstrated capacity to collaborate with internal customers and external contractors including printers, designers, illustrators and distributors.
- Demonstrated experience and sound knowledge of web and print production processes.
- Exceptional eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to problem-solve and work to tight deadlines.
- Photography skills (desirable).
