We currently have a 12mth Maternity leave contract available for Graphic Designer to join our expanding marketing team.
In this role you will assist and support the Marketing team in the design and development of all print/digital assets including display ads both static and animated, social media, eDM's, website assets and print collateral in line with agreed briefs, timeframes, and Brand DNA guidelines.
Reporting to the Graphic Design Lead, the Senior Graphic Designer is also responsible for developing creative concepts and collateral to support strategic initiatives & work cohesively with Marketing and all relevant KING departments.
Your day to day:
- Designs graphic & visual concepts for digital marketing media including display ads, social media platforms, eDM's and websites
- Supports Graphic Design Lead in building templates, guidelines and developing concepts
- Creates finished artwork templates for print (including but not limited to) newsprint/press, magazine, brochures, catalogues, in-Showroom information, Press Ads, Print Ads etc.
- Works with Graphic Design Lead in maintaining the Brand Style Guideline and assists in the frequent auditing of creative assets and brand messaging across the business
- Designs concepts and finished artwork templates for King Living general marketing activities, in-Showroom Point of Sales, Packaging Design, Merchandising, Corporate/Sponsorship communications, and any other graphic design related activities required by KING
- Manipulates, converts, or adjusts images to achieve the desired effect, such as low/high-end retouching including colour balance, colour conversion, composite working, and image extension
- Is responsible for maintenance and upkeep of KING image database.
- Liaises with key suppliers, retouching agency and printers
- Works independently with general guidelines on day-to-day work and on a variety of special projects.

To be successful:
- Formal qualification in Graphic Design, Web Design or related area
- 3-5 years minimum Digital Graphic Design experience in retail, brand, commerce, or agency
- Experience in digital web marketing and web design
- Solid experience enhancing and maintaining EDM’s and working to scheduled campaigns
- Experienced using EDM platforms (Dot Digital- Emarsys preferred but not essential)
- Extensive knowledge in print design including Media print ads, POS and catalogues
- Understands industry trends and can interpret for marketing activities
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of products, and the industry
- Intermediate to Advanced level in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and After Effects
- Basic knowledge of HTML, FTP, web design and development principles (advantageous).
