Your new company
This company is a recognised market leader in their field and is the Australian subsidiary of a listed US business. They operate a number of business units across Australia with the corporate head office being based in Sydney on the North Shore.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will support them in providing high quality financial information by partnering with the local business units and ensuring all checks and balances are in place. Duties include but are not limited to:
Month end and year end close
Consolidations and external financial reporting
Assisting with all tax compliance and returns
Management reporting and analysis
Assisting with SOX compliance, treasure and cash processing
What you'll need to succeed
You will be degree qualified as well as CA or CPA qualified, with experience in consolidations, statutory reporting and tax preparation. External audit experience would be a distinct advantage however candidates with commercial experience only should also apply. As well as being a strong technical accountant you will need to demonstrate significant commercial nous, excellent analytical skills and show that you are self-motivated and able to take ownership of your work.
