Sands Fridge Lines (Sand's) is a family owned business providing chiller, frozen and ambient temperature controlled warehouse and transport services throughout metropolitan and regional WA. The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Group Administration Manager to join our WA Family-Owned Business. The chosen candidate will successfully assist with the management of the administration department and be responsible for ensuring clear communication between teams. They must take pride in what they do, have excellent attention to detail and customer service skills. They will have experience troubleshooting, driving process improvement within IT systems and PC networking. Their desire to drive a continuous improvement culture with their team will sees them look for efficiencies within the operation and contributing to the continued growth of the business as a whole.

Are your administration skills second to none?
Do you have experience trouble shooting IT issues with a focus on driving system functionality?
Can you utilise Excel to its full potential such as using PivotTables, conditional formatting and advanced charting?
Are you able to get best out of people while maintaining excellent staff morale?
Can you effectively communicate with people from varying backgrounds?
Do you have a proven track record of leading large teams and maximising department output?
Do you have extensive experience in End of Month reporting?

Key Responsibilities Include:
Delivery on our service promise by ensuring admin targets are met on time and adhering to specific department and stakeholder requests
Triaging IT issues and escalating them where required
Taking accountability and ownership of department requests both internal and with external stakeholders remaining results and goal orientated at all times
Provide concise and accurate reporting
Manage costs and budgets to improve business performance
Ensure all departments are kept informed of any discrepancy and opportunities, providing solutions where possible
Be action orientated and proactive to drive results
Develop your team with the purpose of improving performance and efficiency
Ensure your team uses correct procedures, and systems to maximise output
Actively drive a safety culture by ensuring all incidents and hazards are reported immediately and the corrective actions are acted upon in a timely manner

To be considered you will need:
Demonstrated experience in a similar role leading a team managing a team of 10 plus
Minimum 2 years exposure/experience in the transport, logistics, warehousing and or freight industry
Advanced demonstrated level use of Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated understanding of the administration side of legislation and laws relating to the operation of heavy vehicles, transportation, fatigue management and vehicle weight restrictions
Good analytical, reporting, planning skills
Experience using both manual and electronic based system
Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and deal with multiple activities simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders
Understanding and application of OHS legislation and safety leadership
Solid experience leading and engaging large teams
Be flexible with working hours

An attractive remuneration package will be offered for this position dependent upon the skills, experience and demonstrated achievements of the successful candidate.
