About the Role:
Please note this is an 8 Month Fixed Term Parental Leave Cover. This role will commence in August 2024.
Reporting to the VIC State Sales Manager in our stunning new South Melbourne office, your role will be working with clients to meet and exceed your sales targets and grow market share based on targets set yearly for your State.
GBD’s are responsible for maximising revenue from new and existing client accounts in order to achieve agreed revenue targets/sales quotas and ensure complete customer satisfaction when dealing with the Company. Specifically, you are responsible for:
- Budget achievement
- Leading the Account Executives/Account Managers in your immediate teams
- Driving the QMS Media business and brand across individual Agency portfolio
- Seeking to increase QMS Media share of media revenue across the product suite of Outdoor, Canberra Airport and Street Furniture;
- Formulate, implement and manage strategic business plans regarding client base to achieve Sales revenue/sales targets;
- Acting as the main interface between the client and the organisation to ensure an optimal level of service is provided at all times;
- Maintain active market presence and strong peer to peer client relationships;
- Ability to coach, motivate and manage direct reports effectively.
What are we looking for?
Ideally you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Preferred degree in business, media, communications or other related fields;
- Previous experience in a similar role, including Media Sales, Outdoors Sales, Team Management & Media Agency Experience would be highly regarded;
- Excellent relationship building skills;
- Proven senior sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent communication skills;
- Ability to motivate and manage direct and indirect teams of employees across multiple functions;
- Specialist OOH product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution;
- Appreciation of the value/importance of designated accounts, coupled with the ability to balance the needs of the organisation and the client's organisation;
