Job Description
Within the new sales structure, the Group Business Manager is responsible for providing day to day management to a team of sales executives and account coordinators leading Television, radio, digital and publishing within a defined territory. You will understand how they work in isolation and as a cross platform solution.
The role requires the Group Business Manager to build and maintain effective relationships with agencies and clients to deliver commercial solutions across all revenue streams in a defined agency and client portfolio.
The role will have a team of direct reports.
Day to day you will:
Deliver against revenue targets set for the group and revenue stream
Proactively Identify and pursue business opportunities for generating revenue
Provide accurate team revenue forecasting
Provide day to day management and direction to the sales team
Ensure and encourage a free flow of information
Coach and develop staff

Qualifications
You will need to be able to communicate Nines strategic direction and understand Nine’s
products spanning Broadcast, Digital, Publishing and Radio, creating opportunity for brands.
This is a new role, and works within a fast-paced, high-performing and energetic sales team who push boundaries and lead the local media industry.
What we would like to see on your resume:
Strong commercial acumen, negotiating and influencing skills
Strong communication and exceptional presentation skills
Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships internally and externally
Ability to work in a faced past environment and adapt and be flexible to change - leading your team through change
Media skills across Digital, Publishing, Radio and Television
Understanding of the Data Landscape (not essential)
Bachelor degree in Marketing/Management or similar (not essential)
