A fast-scaling Australian company, with Global Operations, is currently seeking a Group COO to join a high-performing leadership team. This is a large complex and agile environment which would suit an Executive with empowering leadership skills.
The COO will report to the CEO and Chairman and manage the Global Operations with an emphasis on APAC. Over the next 5 years, the COO will support the growth strategy which will see the business quadruple in size. The focus of the COO will be to deliver continuous and excellent service levels to customers as the business scales and driver global operational performance.
Responsibilities include:
Contribute to the overall business strategy and execution as a member of the C Suite Leadership Team.
Providing strategic Service Delivery recommendations and reporting to the C Suite Team and Advisory Board
Lead Global Service Delivery 24/6:
Customer Excellence: Shared Service (Finance, IT, Customer Service, Procurement etc.)
Operational Excellence: Site-based operational teams
Business continuity planning and performance, capacity planning, and infrastructure utilization performance.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships, with vendors and key people of influence.
Global Service Delivery Communications, including Town Halls, Client, and Support Updates.
Integrate, lead, and manage future international operations
Identify and lead transformation projects designed to future-proof Customer and Operational Excellence for scale and performance.
Product Owner of Case Management Application
Product Owner of People Experience Platform and the Service Managers Strategy
Develop and manage projects to re-position the company operationally to support the expansion of international clients
Chair monthly and quarterly Global Senior Leadership reporting meetings
Skills required:
Minimum 10 years experience in a comparable executive leadership role
Minimum 5 years of experience leading operations across multiple regions
Executive experience in people management at scale, including project and crisis management
Strong reporting, budget, and cost management experience
Exceptional leadership, influencing, and delegations skills
Strong and authentic communicator able to make the complex simple, compelling, and concise
This role is based on the Gold Coast and will require 10 +weeks a year of international travel.
