This position is a role within the Group’s financial control team and responsible for ensuring the Bank's financial reporting requirements are met and systems and controls are continually developed enabling timely, efficient and accurate reporting to Executive Management.
The role will primarily focus on the monthly and annual financial accounting for the Group and subsidiaries combined with the day-to-day activities of the finance function.
You will assist other Group Financial Accountants, Senior Financial Accountants and Group Finance Managers in ensuring the Bank meets its' management and statutory reporting deadlines.

Qualifications
CPA / CA/ICAA qualified (or international equivalent)
Experience
5 years+ accounting experience ideally within a financial control function
Proven technical accounting skills and implementation of new accounting standards.
Knowledge & Competencies
Ability to work directly with other Financial Accounting staff
Consistent ability to meet deadlines with limited supervision from management.
Understanding of control frameworks
