Attention high performing finance professionals! We are seeking a proven Finance Leader who can drive change and transformation.
This is a customer-focused finance / commercial role where you will utilise your stakeholder management skills, and first class communication skills to influence effectively across all levels of the business. In this role, you will lead and develop a large financial team operating in an environment of organisational change and transformation. Ideally, you will be armed with extensive knowledge of the strategic commercial and financial concerns facing a large complex logistics business, including an understanding and interpretation of key business drivers and their influence on business performance.
On to the day-to-day - Leading a high-performing team in providing top-quality financial and management information, advice, and support to foster business growth. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing all consolidated weekly/monthly reporting, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and taking ownership of the balance sheet. You will also be responsible for identifying business risks and managing them proactively within a strategic framework, leveraging your knowledge of the marketplace and industry drivers.
In addition, you will oversee overall reporting across group performance against targeted KPI benchmarks, providing leadership and coordination of the finance function for several revenue streams. You will also be responsible for providing commercial and financial oversight, as well as business partnering across all levels of the business.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will provide sound financial advice and leadership to the organisation, produce board reporting, and analyse business performance on a regular and ad-hoc basis to provide senior stakeholders with reports, analysis, and advice on the impact of key financial and non-financial drivers and opportunities for improved performance.
You will also be responsible for developing cash flow forecasts and reporting, ensuring that financial governance systems are fit for purpose, and monitoring controls and frameworks. As well as continued to development of management information and reporting systems, greater visibility of the operational costs and revenues impacting the business.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
CA / CPA qualified finance professional with considerable financial management experience in large complex multinationals
10+ years' experience within corporate finance within leadership and management
Group Consolidation experieince
Highly skilled with ERP systems
Excellent business partnering skills, engaging with ability to educate and influence
Exceptional leadership qualities and a history mentoring, developing and building high performing teams
