Position Summary
The Group General Manager (GGM) provides leadership for all aspects of Kay & Burton’s operations with an emphasis on balancing the desired long-term goals, growth, profit, and return on investment with the achievement of shorter-term business objectives whilst adapting to market conditions and organisational challenges.
Working with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the GGM will assist in developing, communicating, and executing the strategy to achieve our long-term goals whilst building and leading a team to achieve and sustain high levels of performance.
The GGM ensures that we deliver an extra-ordinary client experience and excellence across our business, driving the highest industry levels of trust and advocacy amongst our clients and team members.
Our strategy depends on us recruiting, developing, and retaining the best talent in the marketplace whilst ensuring that we remain compliant with all relevant regulations and legislation.
Responsibilities
Business Growth and Strategic Development
Develop and drive new initiatives to further expand the company's market share in its target markets areas.
Ensure Kay & Burton maintains and measures a suitable set of strategy and operational metrics.
Oversee the ongoing operations of all divisions of the Kay & Burton Group.
Team Leadership and Management
Work closely with the senior executive team to achieve goals set out by management.
Lead a team of executives in improving performance and strategic position, planning and executing major initiatives.
Provide leadership, engendering teamwork and collaboration between all departments
Develop a culture of continuous improvement in programs and services by promoting pursuit of excellence in all practices
Risk management and compliance
Ensure all managers and staff are fully conversant with Kay & Burton’s Risk Management Framework.
Cultivate relationships and maintain open communication channels with shareholders, government entities, legal counsel, key stakeholders, financial institutes, company accountants, the public, the media, regulators, and integrity bodies as required.
Maintain oversight of service contracts.

Experience in an Operational role supporting CEO/COO
Experience in Real Estate industry
Certificate IV in Property Services
