Opportunity for a Group Leader Landscape Service Centre to join the Crown Lands team who manage and sustain some of the most diverse and iconic land across NSW
Temporary full-time opportunity until April 2024. Location is flexible across our NSW office locations with flexible working arrangements.
Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $116,211 to $128,061 + super

Crown Lands is currently seeking to appoint a Group Leader Landscape Service Centre to lead and coordinate a professional and technical team in planning, natural resource and land management to achieve government priorities in the management of Crown land.

About You

As the Group Leader Landscape Services, you will ensure the effective planning and implementation of key natural resource and land management strategies, programs and projects and lead and mentor a team of multi-skilled staff in activities including natural resource management, environmental investigations, land use planning, land management and compliance.

You will ensure that the relevant financial and non-financial targets of the division and directorate strategic and business plans are met.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader with a strong background in natural resource or land management. To be successful you will be highly organised with the ability to work on multiple competing priorities, have an understanding and ability to interpret a range of legislation including Crown Land Management Act, Contaminated Land Management Act, Biosecurity Act and more.

You will be highly skilled in project management and procurement and contract management and be passionate about driving and leading a range of projects in relation to the Crown land 2031 state strategic plan.

Essential Requirements

Degree in natural resources, planning, environmental science, land management or other relevant field or equivalent knowledge and/or equivalent level of knowledge and experience in the industry
Current NSW drivers’ licence and willingness to travel
