We are seeking a Group Manager – Digital Transformation to join our Corporate Digital Division.

The Challenge

The Group Manager - Digital Transformation is a key leadership role and is ultimately responsible for driving digital transformation across the organisation. This scope includes driving out new digital capabilities, process improvement and ensuring our digital technologies are evolving to meet the needs of the business.

What you’ll do:
Partner with key business stakeholders to deliver digital technologies and capabilities to support a modern organisation
Manage an Agile delivery and Change function to ensure new digital capabilities are adopted effectively, and improve the organisations overall digital maturity
Ensure digital solutions and platforms are aligned to the organisation’s strategic direction, and business users are confident and empowered to maximise ROI from digital investment
Embed innovation into activities as a way of testing new technologies, processes and capabilities, reducing risk to projects, and driving new ways of working
Work closely with the Executive Manager, Digital and the management team to develop digital strategy and execute on strategic plans
Collaborate with other Digital leaders to develop appropriate project activities and budgets, including managing business unit OPEX and CAPEX budgets
Develop and maintain working relationships with vendors and other external parties to ensure capacity and capability can be met as the needs of the organisation change and resource demands fluctuate
Gain a detailed understanding and operate within corporate governance frameworks and policies eg. Delegated Authorities, Procurement and Tendering Policy, Risk Management Framework
Be accountable for the overall performance and productivity of the business unit, including people management responsibilities

What you’ll need to be successful:
Essential Criteria:
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Proven management experience driving digital change in a corporate environment with demonstrated knowledge and experience delivering digital solutions with an agile mindset
Proven experience managing a program of works with interrelated digital projects
Experience standing up corporate data warehouses, analytics solutions and/or web environments
Significant experience in dealing and negotiating with customers and third-party vendors.
Experience managing a team of data professionals in a cloud-based environment
Significant people leadership experience

Desirable Criteria:
Working in a regulated environment
Agile Foundation Certification or Agile Practitioner
ITIL Service Management Foundation Certification, or ITIL Practitioner
Change management qualification and/or experience
Cloud technologies related to data and integration (Azure, AWS etc)
