Group Manager, Sector Development
- Salary: $127,467 - $170,579 (Plus Superannuation)

The position of Group Manager, Sector Development forms a part of the Sport and Recreation Victoria Branch within the Sport, Recreation and Racing Group.
SRV aims to create greater sport and active recreation participation opportunities for all Victorians in order to maximise economic, social and health benefits and enhance Victoria's liveability.
The Role
Supporting the functional areas of Participation and Sector Development (PSD), this role provides leadership to develop program solutions that deliver on strategic directions established across Sport and Recreation Victoria.
The role will further the development of current and future strategic priorities and, together with the members of the PSD leadership team, will maximise the connection of PSD with other business units.
- Provide strategic thinking and future planning and oversee change management initiatives and integrated approaches to enhance compliance with department-wide policies. Demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role and work unit impact clients and the department's ability to deliver, or facilitate the delivery of, effective support and services.
- Identify issues in common for one or more stakeholders and uses to build mutually beneficial partnerships and responds to stakeholder's underlying needs. Uses understanding of the stakeholder's organisational context to ensure outcomes are achieved while finding innovative solutions to resolve stakeholder issues.
- Work with senior management to set and achieve key performance indicators and standards.
Key knowledge and skills requirements for this role include excellent leadership and policy skills, people management skills, and knowledge of project planning and budget management.
